indicates a track segment which is sloped upward at about 60 degrees.
 
L ¼ D5 bank indicates a track segment
which is a banked left handed quarter turn with a diameter of 5 tiles.
 
R 1/8 bank OTD indicates a track segment
which is a banked right handed one-eighth turn. It starts as a regular
orthogonal element but ends as a diagnonal element. OTD = orthogonal to diagonal.
DTO = diagonal to orthogonal.
 
Diag R bank to
25↓ indicates a diagonal
(straight) element which starts as a right sided bank and ends as a downward
slope of about 25 degrees.
 
The Water Coaster uses the codes for "covered" water segments (even though
the segment are not covered on that coaster). Italicized items in braces
{like this}are not used in tracks but are included for completeness.
